Honouring Ambedkar’s Legacy Every Year
Jayanti Celebrations
Ambedkar Jayanti is celebrated annually on 14 April across India and around the world to honour Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s life, vision, and immense contributions to social justice and nation-building. These celebrations bring together people from all walks of life to reflect on his teachings, reaffirm commitments to equality, and promote awareness of his enduring legacy.
The day is marked with cultural programs, community gatherings, rallies, seminars, book exhibitions, and tributes at key memorials such as Chaitya Bhoomi and Deekshabhoomi. Schools, universities, and institutions also organize discussions, competitions, and educational events that highlight Ambedkar’s philosophy. Jayanti celebrations serve not only as remembrance but also as a collective renewal of the values he stood for—justice, dignity, and human upliftment.
